How it works

From messy receipts to a ready-for-your-accountant report in three simple steps.

1
Connect or add income
Your rent flows in automatically from RentalHaus. Add any other income in a tap.
2
Log your expenses
Pick a category, set it one-time or recurring. We even hint what's commonly deductible.
3
Hand off a clean P&L
Every category expands to each transaction — exactly what your accountant needs to file.

Why choose OrbitAccounting

Frequently asked questions

Is OrbitAccounting an accounting or tax service?

No — it's bookkeeping software, a tool to organize your income and expenses and produce a clean profit-and-loss report. We're not a CPA firm and we don't give tax advice. Our deduction hints are general norms; confirm everything with your accountant before filing.

How does billing work?

A single monthly subscription per seat, charged securely through Stripe, that covers all of your properties. $9.95/mo for residential, agent, or seller; $29.95/mo for commercial. Cancel anytime.

How does my rent become income automatically?

If you manage rentals in RentalHaus, OrbitAccounting imports each received rent payment as an income entry — no double-typing. You can also add any outside income manually.

Can my accountant see my books?

Yes — invite them by email from your profile. They sign in and see your books under a read-only client switcher. No files to email, nothing they can accidentally change.

What about recurring expenses like lawn service?

Add it once and set the interval (monthly, weekly, etc.). We generate each entry automatically, and your year-end P&L shows the category total that expands to every individual charge.

Is my financial data private?

Yes. Your data is isolated to your account by database-level security, never sold, and only shared with an accountant you explicitly invite. See our Privacy Policy.
